National Property Managers Day is July 23, and first of all, thanks to everybody in our hosting team for your continuing effort!

This year is a hard year. The coronavirus pandemic has put immense pressure on the rental market, especially for Victoria State. Property managers have pivoted quickly to handle legislative changes to tenancy acts, rent negotiations between tenants and landlords, and larger portfolios than they may have previously had – all of this while working completely mobile and paperless.

Real Estate Institute of Australia President (REIA), Adrian Kelly said: "This year’s celebration comes at a time when there are many distressed tenants as well as landlords struggling in lockdowns".

“There are an estimated 2.7 million rentals in Australia with 80 % of these properties managed by our property managers,” he said.

Well, this year, the property managers have become highly skilled negotiators!

Property Manager is the LINK between the landlords and the tenants, they have to make sure the information is real and correct between everybody. Should be a nice people and make good relationship with every partner :) 

And also, they have helped lots of emotional clients. 

Due to the COVID-19, there is no doubt that most Australians are going through a highly emotional time compared to the same time last year. HOME is a very important part of our lives so when something affects that, it impacts emotions. Many people have been struggling in their jobs. For lots of tenants, this means they hard to pay the rent and bills, for landlords, mortgage repayments have become a struggle. Property Managers have dealt with lots of cases due to this phenomenon. 

They deserve to celebrate their efforts on this day, and they deserve praise.
