Real estate inspections will resume this Saturday
Melbourne has been lockdown for more than 200 days of COVID-19 since the pandemic began.
And from 9 News, yesterday announced,
Lockdown restrictions across Melbourne and Ballarat will ease at 11.59 pm tomorrow with modest changes coming into effect after the state hit its 70 percent first-dose vaccine milestone.
Premier Daniel Andrews said those in metropolitan Melbourne and locked down Ballarat will be permitted to leave their homes for "outdoor social interaction" under strict conditions.
One person may meet with another person not from their household for a picnic or another outdoor activity regardless of their vaccination status.
11,59pm Friday:
- 5 fully vaccinated adults from two households can gather outdoors.
- 4 hours outdoors.
- 10km travel limit
- 2 person personal training
- skateparks and outdoor gyms
- real estate inspections
- vaccinated construction (one dose)
Up to five adults plus dependants from two households will be able to gather outdoors if all adults present have received both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.
- The time limit for exercise will also double from two hours to four hours and the travel radius will expand to 10 kilometers, up from five kilometers.
Other changes to metropolitan Melbourne will include:
- Two people will be able to train outdoors with a personal trainer
- Skate parks and outdoor communal exercise equipment will reopen
- In-home childminding for school-aged children will be extended to households where there is just one authorized worker
- Up to five people will be able to attend an entertainment venue or physical recreation facility for the purposes of the broadcast of either performance, a class, or a concert
- Real estate inspections will resume by appointment only on the conditions the property is vacant at the time of the inspection and the agent stays outside
This is definitely good news for our Austrump Hosting property manager team, as there is plenty of inspection inquires that have been extended due to the lockdown.
And also, there are some changes to regional Victoria as well.
In regional Victoria, excluding Ballarat, some restrictions will also ease across the region.
The changes coming from 11.59 pm tomorrow are:
- Indoor physical recreation facilities can open with 10 people indoors and 20 people outdoors per venue. Pools can reopen with up to 50 people outdoors and 20 people indoors. Hydrotherapy and swimming lessons may occur. Spas, saunas, and steam rooms remain closed.
- Tour transportation - such as tour vans and buses can operate with up to 10 people per vehicle.
- Travel - Regional Victorians are now permitted to travel to Melbourne to get a COVID-19 vaccine if the appointment is at an adjacent LGA.
Hope everyone can stay safe and have a good weekend :)
