Docklands is an inner-western suburb of Melbourne, which is 2 km from Melbourne's Central Business District. Docklands occupies an area adjacent to the Melbourne CBD, consisting of land and water totaling 200 hectares. Including Docklands in the City of Melbourne doubled the size of Melbourne's central city and returned a significant area of waterfront to the city.



There are plenty of featuring apartments and townhouses located in this area. It is the only free tram zone besides Melbourne city. It is also close to Melbourne's main transport networks, including Southern Cross Station, and is well known as the home to Etihad Stadium and many modern buildings, public spaces, and artworks.
