It has been more than a week since the second lockdown in metropolitan Melbourne. I have been staying at home and wondering how I can get enough sunlight.
Most of the apartments in the city have problems such as lack of sunlight and quite windy. Since we can still go out to exercise. I would like to recommend 3 places that you can go for a short walk and exercise in/near CBD.
1. Flagstaff Garden
It is one of the oldest parks in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, first established in 1862. Today it is one of the most visited and widely used parks in the city by residents, nearby office workers, and tourists.
2. Docklands
Adorned with art sculptures and apartment buildings, Docklands continues to rise in the liveability rank in recent years.
You cannot access the waterfront dining, retail, and entertainment hubs at the moment, but just for a walk and window shopping and enjoy the sunlight by water.
3. Southbank
Southbank can also be reached within 20 min walkability from the north part of Melbourne CBD. Sealife Melbourne, Crown Casino, and other entertainment places are currently closed, but you can enjoy the city view by Yarra River. Early afternoon is the best time in a day for a light walk.
